How to Remove Carpet Glue From Flooring

Wet / Dry Vacuum
5-gallon bucket
Pressure sprayer (safe use of chemicals)
Floor stripper adhesive (there are different types ofFloor Stripper), a rise that was specifically designed to remove floor adhesive.
Floor Scraper (long handle better)
Towels
Floor Mop


Steps to remove the soil glue:

1. Before you begin the project ensures that you work in a safe environment for chemicals. Open to ensure all windows and doors, to insure proper airflow.

2. You need to prepare the ground before you can begin the clean-up process. Use clean the wet / dry vacuumthe floors of all the dirt. Be sure to use the flat floor attachment that came with it. Thus the work becomes much easier.

3. If the soil is cleaned of dirt, you can begin to apply on the floor stripper. Before you do this, you should wear the proper safety equipment. Be sure to read the mixing instructions on the bottle. Some solutions require no mixing.

4. Once you get the right way to use the product, then the use is determinedPump sprayer to apply the stripper. Remove the top of the pump spray and pour the stripper solution in the sprayer. Be sure to read the instructions for the pump sprayer, or it can not function properly. Not on the pump the sprayer! This could fail sprayer or the solution leak. Follow the directions and spray the floor stripper on the sticky surface. Follow the instructions to soak.

5. Once the solution has had time to work, then beginsScraping process. Be careful, the floor be slippery! Start scraping the ground with the flat scraper head in a continuous motion. The pattern you choose is really up to you. Glue begins to build-up at the end of the floor scraper. They have the glue in the 5-gallon bucket. Continue scraping the ground, until all the glue is removed, and you have achieved the desired results.

6. If you are satisfied with the results, we can begin to clean the left over glueand chemical residues from the soil. Empty all the glue scraped from the 5-gallon bucket. Rinse and fill buckets with fresh water.

7. Mop the floor with fresh water. Make sure all cracks and crevices, where glue had gathered to get up. Be sure to properly dispose of dirty water.

8. Finish with a wet / dry vacuum the floor completely. The floor should be clean and free of any adhesive residue.

9. Use the clothTowels for all touch-ups.
